Meet Dan!

Barbershop!
I have been part of the barbershop community for more than half my life—15 wonderful years of learning, performing, and connecting through music. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of singing with several ensembles, including Vocal Confluence in Pittsburgh, The New Tradition Chorus in Chicago, and currently, GOTHAM in New York City.

In 2024, I had the honor of helping coach GOTHAM to a 3rd-place finish at the International Barbershop Contest—an achievement that remains a highlight of my barbershop journey. Around the same time, I also began the process of becoming a performance judge for the Barbershop Harmony Society. I am currently on track to earn full certification in July 2026.

Coaching Barbershop!
Throughout my journey toward becoming a certified performance judge, I’ve had the privilege of coaching a wide range of ensembles. These include Voices of Gotham, GOTHAM, Sirens of Gotham, and Vocal Confluence—each of which has competed at the International level. I have also worked with several quartets that have reached the international stage, including Coulee Classic and Beltway.

Theatre!
While barbershop holds a special place in my heart, my first love has always been theatre and performance—passions I’ve pursued for as long as I can remember. I graduated from Ithaca College in 2018 with a BFA in Acting and soon after relocated to Chicago, where I had the opportunity to work with several renowned comedy theatres, including ComedySportz and The Second City. During my time there, I co-wrote and performed in Uptempo!, a year-long improvised musical at The Second City.

In 2021, I moved to New York City, where I have continued to build my performance career. Since then, I have been involved in numerous productions, including the international tour of Phantom Folktales, created by the Tony-nominated PigPen Theatre Company.
